Practically, we offer an official warranty of 5 to 10 years (depending on the model), where the company guarantees the battery will retain 60-80% of its original capacity even after 6000 full charge/discharge cycles. This means you might not need to replace the battery for a full decade.

Yes, and they are safer than traditional batteries if they are LFP type. Pylontech batteries use "Lithium Iron Phosphate" chemistry, which is thermally stable and does not explode or catch fire even under harsh conditions. Additionally, each battery contains a smart Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors the temperature and voltage of every cell, and automatically disconnects the battery in milliseconds if any fault or short circuit occurs, ensuring the safety of your home and family.

The calculation depends on your consumption in kWh. For example, a single Pylontech US5000 battery provides about 4.8 kWh of usable energy. This is enough to run a large fridge, full lighting, TV, and device charging for 10-12 hours. If you wish to run an AC at night, you will need more (2-3 batteries or more). The initial price of Lithium might seem high (double or triple Gel), but the operating cost is much lower. When you buy a Gel battery, you will have to replace it every two years (paying for it 5 times over 10 years). Whereas you buy a Lithium battery once and it serves you for 10 years. 48V systems are the modern standard and more efficient, especially for home systems larger than 3kW. Higher voltage means lower current, which reduces wiring losses and system heat, allowing the use of thinner and cheaper cables. All our modern Pylontech batteries operate on the 48V system compatible with most hybrid inverters in the Yemeni market. 24V or 12V systems are only suitable for very small or mobile setups.

With Lithium batteries, maintenance is very easy because the BMS does most of the work. However, to ensure longest life: 1) Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or high heat (above 45°C). 2) Ensure cable connections are tight and clean. 3) If you are traveling for a long time, leave the battery charged at 50-60% and turn off the system.
