A regular (Off-Grid) inverter is designed to work in isolated islands, taking power from panels to charge batteries and power the home, but it cannot "mix" sources simultaneously. The Hybrid inverter is the newer and smarter generation; it can blend power from panels, batteries, and the public grid (or generator) at the same time to feed loads. This means higher efficiency, fuel/electricity savings, and uninterrupted power continuity, making it the most suitable choice for Yemen's conditions.

Choosing size depends on "Peak Load", i.e., the total consumption of appliances running *at the same time*. If you run lights, a fridge, and a TV, 3kW might suffice. But if you plan to run a water pump, heater, or AC, we recommend choosing a 5kW or 8kW inverter to ensure stability. Yes, a 5kW inverter (especially from strong brands like Deye) is easily capable of running a 1-ton or 1.5-ton AC, provided that the solar panel and battery array is sufficient to cover the AC consumption. Modern ACs (Inverter AC) consume less power at startup and continuous operation, making them very compatible with solar energy. Upon our visit, we will calculate the number of batteries and panels required to ensure the AC runs for your desired period without stressing the system.

The inverter is a sensitive device requiring a clean, well-ventilated environment. Basic maintenance includes: 1) Cleaning air filters (side meshes) every 3-6 months to prevent dust blockage and overheating. 2) Ensuring cooling fans are working properly. 3) Tightening connections and cables once a year (via a specialist technician) to avoid any looseness that might cause sparks or heat.
